Welcome to Needle and Paw Co! My name is Haley Turner, and I’m the heart and hands behind these handmade wool portraits. Needle and Paw Co. began as a full time business after a deep personal loss.
I was determined to preserve the memory of my 15 year old boys, Max & Rocky. As they quickly aged, I wanted to create a meaningful way to keep their presence alive. After having to say goodbye to both of them, I found needle felting to be a healing practice that allowed me to connect with them through each of your portraits.
What started as a search to preserve their spirits has evolved into a full-time passion. I left my career as a teacher to focus on this craft, a leap driven by love and the desire to help others hold on to their own precious memories.
Each portrait is crafted entirely by hand, ensuring that every piece is as unique as the individual it represents.
